Hypothesis

One relevant backlink may help discovery or confidence for a page, but the effect may be small, delayed, or impossible to isolate from other changes.

Methodology

We will choose one page, record baseline Search Console data, document the backlink context, avoid major page changes during the measurement window, and compare visibility afterward.

What we are measuring

  • Baseline impressions and clicks
  • Average position range
  • Query variety
  • Crawl timing after the link
  • Changes after the measurement window
